Paving Asphalt Laborer

Location: Boulder / Lafayette / Longmont, CO
Pay: $14–$15/hour (based on experience and valid driver’s license)

Position Summary:
Entry-level position focused on learning and performing the proper techniques for placing and finishing asphalt in commercial and residential environments. Labor-intensive role with physical demands in varying weather conditions. Work is performed under the direction of an Asphalt Paving Crew Chief.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribute asphalt evenly using shovels and rakes to meet grading specifications
• Operate plate tampers and smooth joints, gutters, and inaccessible areas
• Utilize hand and pneumatic tools for demolition and asphalt repair
• Participate in Toolbox Talks and follow all safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with crew chief and team members
• Lift 50–75 lbs regularly; reliable transportation required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of asphalt paving experience preferred 

Concrete Laborer

Location: Boulder / Lafayette / Longmont, CO
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and valid driver’s license

Position Summary:
Perform demolition, setup, and finishing work on concrete patios, sidewalks, stairs, curbs, and gutters. Must be able to read grade shots and set forms. Requires use of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and finishing techniques including broom finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove and replace damaged concrete using manual and powered tools
• Set forms to proper grade and elevation
• Pour, distribute, and finish concrete using trowels, floats, screeds, and brooms
• Clean job sites and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in Toolbox Talks
• Lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Provide own hand tools (trowels, chalk line, gloves, boots, etc.)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in concrete installation and repair

Asphalt Raker

Location: Boulder / Lafayette / Longmont, CO
Pay: Competitive

Position Summary:
Perform raking and finishing work on asphalt surfaces for driveways, roads, and parking lots. Assist in asphalt distribution, joint smoothing, and surface corrections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rake asphalt to ensure smooth finish and proper grading
• Use pneumatic tools to break and remove existing pavement
• Smooth and compact surfaces inaccessible by roller
• Participate in safety meetings and follow crew chief instructions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of asphalt raking or paving experience
